Our Vision

A Just and Caring Society

We strive to create a “just” society where all people can live with dignity, social security, and peace, and rejoicing their rights and fulfilling their duties to society and to the nation.
Our Mission

Assistance to Foundations is Help to People

To restore hope and provide opportunities for children and people to become that entire God intends them to be; partner with the local mainstream society to put confidence and faith into action through service to the community. Our mission focus is serving the most vulnerable children, teens and families in Social service area. We serve people of all races, ethnicities, creeds, gender and orientation regardless of their ability to pay.

To provide a peaceful and productive environment for all children, especially children who are in need of care and protection, (boys and girls) to have a positive experience and awareness of a dignified decent life every day. To help each individual student to strive to do their best at every task, meet their individual goals; instil self-confidence and self-esteem in every aspect of their lives. And above all else, to teach each child to display courtesy for every person; have respect for each other, their parents and those around them; and to be honest, have a great spirit, and finally to develop self-discipline.

We believe people should be treated with respect, dignity, and courtesy. ICM seeks to be a ministry where everyone is valued and treated the way they would like to be treated. Love is expressed by caring more for others than we care for ourselves. Furthermore, we recognize that we are called by God to be His representatives (disciples) and His presence in the world. In our organizational practices and community services we incorporate Christian principles and biblical standards in both our professional and personal lives.

“We are so glad that we can say with utter honesty that in all our dealings we have been pure and sincere, quietly depending upon the Lord for his help and not on our own skills. And that is even truer, if possible, about the way we have acted toward you.”Integrity – This is simply being the same in our actions as we are in our thoughts. At the heart of integrity is being honest with oneself and with others.

We believe people should work in an environment where they feel empowered to make decisions that contribute to the vision of the ministry. As a ministry we desire to provide as much latitude as possible to encourage everyone to make the best possible decisions.

While our purpose, training and equipping leaders, remains constant, our methods change as the needs and opportunities change. Everyone on the FIDESIndia team should look for more innovative ways of doing their tasks and the task of the ministry.

We believe that regardless of position we are called to serve one another. Servanthood is about helping others be successful in what they do.

We believe everyone embracing the values of humanity; will do what is best for the society, each other, and the ministry. We always begin at the point of believing the best of each other.

God brings the right people together at the right time for fulfilling the right tasks. Just as the body is more than the sum of its organs, so as team, when functioning correctly, is more than the sum of the members of team? Synergy is accomplished by each part working together to achieve a common vision.

We recognize everything we do as a process that can be improved, simplified or eliminated. Just as our individual lives must be transformed, moment by moment, so our ministry must be transformed. All of the ministry’s processes are open to evaluation and change. We commit to the mission God has given us in ICM with all our strength, resources and time. Our goal is to explore how to fulfill our mission effectively and efficiently.

Our Values

And As You Desire That Men Should Do To You, Do Likewise To Them

Our core values underpin the way in which we behave and go about our purpose. They are clearly expressed through our thinking, behaviour and decision-making – together they establish our working organization culture. Values lie at the heart of what brings people together in order to accomplish a common aim or task. People join with others who share and are motivated by the same values. Values drive behavior, both individuals and organizations. While all believers and Christian organizations hold to certain common values, ministries have a set of core values that drive organizational behaviour.

Our Commitment

We acquainted that values cannot be legislated; they must be lived or practiced. No document can substitute for the attitudes, decisions and actions that make up the fabric of our life and work. Therefore, we pledge with each other, before God, to do our utmost for anyone and as Partnership to uphold these Core Values, to honour them in our decisions, to express them in our relationships and to act consistently with them whatever and wherever we are at service.

Our Focus

We put women and girls in the centre because we know that we cannot overcome poverty until all people have equal rights and opportunities.

FIDESIndia Society’s core values are:

We acknowledge one God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In Jesus Christ the love, mercy and grace of God are made known to us and all people. From this overflowing abundance of God’s love we find our call to ministry. We proclaim together, “Jesus lived, died, and rose again. Jesus is Lord.” We desire him to be central in our individual and corporate life. We seek to follow him — in his identification with the poor, the powerless, the afflicted, the oppressed, the marginalized; in his special concern for children; in his respect for the dignity bestowed by God on women equally with men; in his challenge to unjust attitudes and systems; in his call to share resources with each other; in his love for all people without discrimination or conditions; in his offer of new life through faith in him. From him we derive our holistic understanding of the gospel of the Kingdom of God, which forms the basis of our response to human need. We hear his call to servant hood and see the example of his life. We commit ourselves to a servant spirit permeating the organization. We know this means facing honestly our own pride, sin and failure. We bear witness to the redemption offered only through faith in Jesus Christ. The staffs we engage are equipped by belief and practice to bear this witness.

We will maintain our identity as Christian, while being sensitive to the diverse contexts in which we express that identity. Our People have always understood that no one lives in isolation—individuals depend on each other, as well as themselves. In a world that presents both challenges and opportunities, we must work together, and be resilient. Each person has a responsibility to themselves, to their families and to their community. We need to treat each other with respect. These cultural values are summarized in the organizational values of FIDES, which guide us in everything we do and we are interdependent and we trust one another and work as a team toward our common goals. We recognize that each of us has an equally important role in the community, and that we are stronger together than as individuals.

We look to the future with steadfast optimism, hope and faith in Our People.  We adapt to change with persistence and determination. We engage in creative solutions and endure adversity with courage. We are ultimately responsible for fulfilling our mission and serving Our People. We are reliable, work with integrity and lead by example. We honor our obligations and correct our mistakes.

We treat one another with dignity and kindness. We value and embrace our diversity, respect ourselves and understand boundaries. We approach each experience with gratitude and humility.

We are called to serve the neediest people of the earth; to relieve their suffering and to promote the transformation of their condition of life. We stand in solidarity in a common search for justice. We seek to understand the situation of the poor and work alongside them towards fullness of life. We share our discovery of eternal hope in Jesus Christ. We seek to facilitate an engagement between the poor and the affluent that opens both to transformation. We respect the poor as active participants, not passive recipients, in this relationship. They are people from whom others may learn and receive, as well as give. The need for transformation is common to all. Together we share a quest for justice, peace, reconciliation and healing in a broken world. We regard all people as created and loved by God. We give priority to people before money, structure, systems and other institutional machinery.

We act in ways that respect the dignity, uniqueness and intrinsic worth of every person -he poor, the donors, our staff and their families, boards and volunteers. We celebrate the richness of diversity in human personality, culture and contribution. We practice a participative, open, enabling style in working relationships. We encourage the professional, personal and spiritual development of our staff.

The resources at our disposal are not our own. They are a sacred trust from God through donors on behalf of the poor. We are faithful to the purpose for which those resources are given and manage them in a manner that brings maximum benefit to the poor. We speak and act honestly. We are open and factual in our dealings with donor constituencies, project communities, governments and the public at large and with each other. We endeavor to convey a public image conforming to reality. We strive for consistency between what we say and what we do. We demand of ourselves high standards of professional competence and accept the need to be accountable through appropriate structures for achieving these standards. We share our experience and knowledge with others where it can assist them. We are stewards of God’s creation. We care for the earth and act in ways that will restore and protect the environment. We ensure that our development activities are ecologically sound

We believe in urgent action, innovation, and the necessity of transformation — within the world and our own organization.

We are accountable to the people and partners we humbly serve, transparently sharing our results, stories and lessons and we are good stewards of our resources.

We know that by embracing differences, actively including a variety of voices, and joining together we can solve the world’s most complex problems.

We challenge ourselves to the highest level of learning and performance, tapping the best of the human spirit to create impact.

We believe in the equal value of every human being and the importance of respecting and honoring each individual; we know that change happens through people.

Describes who we are, what we do, and how we do it. It reflects our Core Values of TRANSFORMATION, INTEGRITY, DIVERSITY, EXCELLENCE, and EQUALITY, which serve as a foundation for all that we do.

FIDESIndia Society works in the most disadvantaged societies, irrespective of caste, class, race, gender or religion. We seek to Promote equal opportunities for economic empowerment, livelihood security, and full inclusion in all aspects of society.

We communicate honestly and respectfully with all the stake holders.

We promote and practice inclusion. The physical environment, legislation, communication facilities and our thinking and attitudes all have the potential to exclude and isolate individuals or groups from mainstream society. CBM will endeavor both within the organization and externally to identify barriers, and implement solutions which lead to a more inclusive society

We are responsive to life-threatening emergencies where our involvement is needed and appropriate like natural calamity. We are willing to take intelligent risks and act quickly. We do this from a foundation of experience and sensitivity to what the situation requires. We also recognize that even in the midst of crisis, the destitute have a contribution to make from their experience. We are responsive in a different sense where deep-seated and often complex economic and social deprivation calls for sustainable, long-term development. We maintain the commitments necessary for this to occur.  We encourage innovation, creativity and flexibility. We maintain an attitude of learning, reflection and discovery in order to grow in understanding and skill.

All our development activities shall ensure Sustainability Participatory Empowerment and Decentralization.
