Image gallery on the activities and functions... more Fides is a well structured charity organization with a clear vision... more Profile of Director Profile of Founder	OUR ACHEIVEMENTS *To impart literacy programmes for illiterate men and women of fishing community. *About 14,000 illiterate of different age groups from 10 different fishing villages in Trivandrum district    were made into literates through planned literacy programmes during the last two decades. *About 40,000 primary,secondary and higher secondary students from among different fishing    villages were given free remedial tuition during the last 20 years. *Hundreds of fishermen youth are presently goups getting career guidance counseling from    the FIDES. *Ten women groups of 50 members in each unit ( 500) have been organized so far. *A nursery school is established in Poonthura fishing villages under the support of FIDES. *Twenty days awareness camps on cost effective nutrition , health , sanitation and community based    environmental hygiene have been organized by FIDES exclusively for women of ten units till date. *Many youth, male and female, undergone FIDES training have emerged as social and    political leaders and have been elected to constitutional bodies.
